Monicah Wambui Kiragu is a Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) and a Registered Diabetes Nurse Educator with 12 years of experience. Passionate about empowering patients with diabetes and other non-communicable conditions, she focuses on improving their quality of life. Monicah holds certifications from DESSA South Africa and CDE Johannesburg. With extensive experience at the Aga Khan University Hospital Diabetes and Endocrinology unit, she actively participates in local training initiatives and diabetes education programs for schools in Kenya.

Monicah is an active member of the Kenya Diabetes Study Group and a founding member of Diabetes Empowerment, a support group dedicated to educating, empowering, and supporting individuals and families affected by diabetes.
